A seasoned communications consultant and a qualified journalist, George has mastered a rare confluence of PR agency and in-house corporate communications experience with a strong understanding of newspaper journalism, interviewing skills and social media engagement gained during a career spanning 25 years in the UAE, United Kingdom, Greece and Cyprus.
He effectively blends and practices an extensive repertoire of public relations, corporate communications, social media, journalism and digital skill sets, know-how, experience and expertise enhancing brand equity and adding value at a 360-degrees communications trajectory. Expert in guiding organisations who value their reputation by nurturing teams and leading by example through an innate and diverse inventory of coaching, visionary and affiliative leadership styles.
He has media trained senior leaders from companies such as Kraft Foods, Al-Futtaim Automotive Group, Honda, Lexus, Emrill, Gulf Family Business Council, Dubai Festival City, IASO, Cairo Festival City, Al-Futtaim Emiratisation Department amongst others.
With a total of 16 years of consultancy experience and six years in senior communications roles with the Middle East’s biggest privately-held conglomerate, Al-Futtaim, and Abu Dhabi’s major Sovereign Wealth Fund, Mubadala, George has acquired a deep understanding of the needs and requirements of major corporations seeking to establish their leadership credentials through traditional and social media engagement.
