A new Hotel is being built on the South Eastern corner of the existing golf course at Jebel Ali so the three first golf holes have been re-designed by Harradine Golf and built by Orient Irrigation Services.
To fit the new Hotel within the existing golf course the routing, length and layout of the first three holes had to be completely changed. Instead of a Par 5, Par 3 and Par 4, the holes are now in a Par 4, Par 4 and Par 3 configuration.
The Harradine Golf team managed to put together three great holes which keep the character of the existing course and will provide a great backdrop for the new Hotel guests while they are enjoying a drink or meal out on the terrace.
The Orient team also managed to build the three holes, which involved a lot of earth movement and two new lakes in a very short period of time so that the Golf course didn’t stay closed for too long. The course is already open, playable and ready to be enjoyed once again.
