Greetings from Emirates Environmental Group!
We are thrilled to confirm that for the 6th consecutive years from 17.06.21 through 21.07.21, our popular summer initiative “Recycle. Reforest. Repeat” is returning to engage many sectors of society to partake active measures in the battle against desertification.
The 2021 Desertification and Drought Day to be held on 17 June will aim to achieve the goal of demonstrating that investing in healthy land as part of a green recovery is a smart economic decision. It helps create not just in terms of creating jobs and rebuilding livelihoods, and contribute to fortifying economies against future crises caused by climate change and nature loss, and in accelerating progress on all 17 Sustainable Development Goals. As a dedicated UNCCD accredited organisation, EEG is collaborating its efforts with the international body to convey this valuable message.
A certificate of participation and a sapling of an indigenous tree planted under your name will be granted for the corporates who achieve the target amount of 1000 kg of paper in the one month period between 17 June and 21 July 2021, during EEG’s annual tree planting event in December of 2021.
It’s easy to push the print button and print out single documents that will be stored or thrown away. EEG invites you to recycle your paper waste under the “Recycle. Reforest. Repeat” programme. We ask you to register your collections for the programme.

You can drop off the collected paper at the EEG office anytime between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm from Saturday to Wednesday or on Thursdays between 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Nevertheless, please remember that for the EEG truck to collect it from your home, it needs a minimum amount of 150 kg of paper.
Looking forward to see your proactive participation!
