In collaboration with the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG), our SBC Environmental Group would like to cordially invite you on Tuesday, 29th of November 2022 at 3:30 PM for the 6th panel discussion of the year, under the theme and title “Role of Retrofitting: Remodelling Existing Built Environment”.
If unchecked, climate change and environmental degradation will surely leave a scar on our current cities as we know that our current actions are rapidly accelerating climate change. So, this panel discussion will aim to address how we can make our built environment more sustainable and climate-resilient through retrofitting, the challenges faced by the industry and other interlinked subjects. The retrofitting industry is a booming industry globally and has massive potential in helping countries reach their goals of sustainability including the UN Sustainable Development Goals includes Goal 7: Affordable & Clean Energy, Goal No 11: Sustainable Cities & Communities, Goal No 12: Sustainable Consumption and Production, Goal 13: Climate Action, Goal 15: Life on Land, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
