The World Tourism Forum Lucerne is an exclusive platform where the world’s leading tourism, travel and hospitality companies and decision-makers meet to shape a more sustainable future and delve into the core themes of the tourism industry. The Start-Up Innovation Camps & Summits are WTFL’s annual flagship initiatives, which aim to advance innovation for a more sustainable future in tourism.
World Tourism Forum Lucerne’s next International Start-up Innovation Camp & Summit will take place on 18 and 19 January 2022 in Ras Al Khaimah. The two-day event will include a series of private workshops for the Start-up Finalists (Camp, 18.1.22) and a public conference (Summit, 19.1.22) with a line-up of insightful keynotes and panel discussions. It is organized together with Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, WTFL’s 2022 Guest Country Partner in Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), and all stakeholders in the start up community are invited to join this exciting event.
Twelve start-ups were chosen from over 400 applicants from all over the world and are given the unique opportunity to participate in the two-day event. In addition to receiving personal coaching sessions, the start-ups will present their business models to the jury, an audience of international guests and interested investors. The best start-up from each of the four categories Destination, Hospitality, Mobility and Transaction will be awarded a cash prize and invited to join World Tourism Forum Lucerne’s start-up network.
